Experienced meditation guides Paul Wielgus and Ros Boughtflower run a combination of regular evening drop in sessions and day workshops that focus on mindfulness for joy, presence and resilience.
During these sessions they share simple meditation practices that will help make you calmer, less stressed, happier, more peaceful and enhance your relationships with other people.
In the past, meditation based workshops have been held at various locations around the Frome area and have received really good feedback from participants. Their main aim is to enable people to meet and spend some quiet time together in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. At the workshops they share and experience some very simple, and highly effective, tools that can be used in every day life with immediate effect on our own inner peace, calm and positive outlook.
A great inspiration for the Medicine for a Happy Life work is Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard, who is often called “the happiest man in the world” and in his book “Happiness – A Guide to Developing Life’s Most Important Skill”, he gives compelling reasons, as well as simple practices, as to how we can “think our way to happiness”. But don’t just take their word for it, why not come along and experience this directly.
